School's in...What to wear?

So I've made it past the first two weeks of school with the kiddies and I'm trying to decide what to make my staple accessory or clothing piece for this fall/winter. It has to be something with Estilo (style) of course, and hopefully on trend with what is IN this Fall.

Now we all know that everything old becomes new in the Fashion world. It just gets tweaked and upgraded a bit. The trick is to pull out that old pair of pants, shoes, top, scarf etc. you loved way back when and upgrade it by matching it with something new. That something new can be a hat, piece of statement jewelry, gloves, shoes, pair of pants, purse..etc. but doesn't necessarily need to cost you big bucks. H&M, for example, has cheap trendy pieces you can match up with your nicer wears from a past life.
