For mom's in particular, accessories are the key to showcasing our personal style without having to fuss too much over what we're wearing. While this comes easily to some, it's not so straight forward to others. Merchandising your outfit...essentially placing the add-ons (necklace, earrings, bracelet, hat, shoes, etc.) to reflect your personal style is what takes your outfit from boring everyday wear and makes it uniquely yours or simply spectacular.

Fall's 2012 Accessories are bolder than ever. So take some notes, you'll want to merchandise it up with these beautiful extras.

Accessory Trends: Part 1

Color - Green. You'll see it on purses, scarves, shoes, watches, etc.
These are meant to be worn as accent pieces. Do not go head-to-toe green.

1. Pyramid & Spike studs are still hot. Designers are still placing them prominently on shoes, necklaces, bracelets, purses, gloves...you name it. 
2. Star Studs are the new kid on the block. These are also adding a fun touch to Fall's accessories. Check out the pic below of star hair pins on Rodarte's runway show.
